Have you fallen victim to the suns blaze before? It can be very tempting to sacrifice that extra layer and head out base-free. However, base layers prove a helping hand in the cold and hot weather...
Morvélo's Bird base layer is made from a high stretch Italian mesh fabric with hydrophilic treatment for greater breathability in the sun and chill. Meaning on the hottest of days, a base-free ride could cost you a very sweaty under area come the coffee stop.
Designed to regulate body temperature and wick sweat away from the body, you'll not get the gross feeling of damp sweaty fabric against your skin. It performs best when worn under a jersey - perspiration can then move from one layer to the next, speeding up the drying process.
Bird's elastane content and body mapped panels are super stretchy for an unrestrictive fit, so alternating from hoods to drops is smooth and less restricted.
Then there's all the tiny features you'd expect from Morvélo: heat sealed labels and flatlock seams to prevent itchy irritations, super light so you don't feel like you're wearing body armour and a pretty pattern to style up your ride.
Morvélo's base layers are a skin tight fit to enable technical properties of the fabric to work best. Made from a high stretch fabric, it will adapt to your body, allowing you to move completely free.
Chest: Wrap the tape measure straight around, underneath the armpits.

Oli Pepper and Dave Marcar are bike nuts to the core. They've spent most of their lives riding and racing all kinds of bikes, plus nearly as long in the worlds of graphic design and branding. In 2009, they decided to combine their passions and expertise and created Morvélo - to encompass cycling 'in all its forms'.
Since then, from their Brighton base, the firm has grown through private financing from their friends and customers - often one and the same! Today they are amongst the rising stars of the British cycling sector. They remain independently owned an proudly British, and so able to put their own distinctive mark on their ever expanding range of stunning cycling gear. They explore themes that combine cycling with wider influences from art, fashion, film and music. And they do it with real individuality and class. Their women's range is growing fast, and they have 'real' women as part of their team both to design and test all their products. Just some of the reasons why we like them so much!
On top of their great clothing, they are always looking to expand their influence within the cycling world more broadly - hence their collaborations with brands as iconic as the Tour de France, the Bicycle Academy and Look Mum No Hands, and cycling events. They are going places, and we're going with them...
