- The London Bike Show (ExCel, Feb 13-16th)
- BeFit London (Old Billingsgate, Mar 28-30th)
- Women v Cancer Ride the Night (Windsor Race Course, May 31st)
- Tour de France Festival of Cycling (Harewood House, Yorkshire, Jul 4-6th)
- Chilterns Cycling Festival (Amersham, Jul 13th)

- MacMillan Cycletta (nationwide, Sep/Oct)
Women v Cancer Ride the Night (May 2014)
On a balmy evening in Windsor, 2000 gallant (and very pink!) women gathered to start their 100km odessey to Ride the Night - into Central London and back out by dawn.
We loved being the principal retailer at such an auspicious event, and the buzz that came from such a gathering of cyclists raising money for such a worthy cause sent tingles down our spines all evening.
BeFit London (Mar 2014)
The inaugural BeFit London saw VeloVixen feature among an invitation-only selection of exhibitors at 'the only event dedicated to empowering women through health, nutrition and fitness.'
Held at Old Billingsgate, we had a wonderful three days at the show, meeting hundreds of London's fit, active and positive women. It was certainly a festival of all things health and fitness.
London Bike Show 2014 (Feb 2014)
We enjoyed our biggest presence yet at the 2014 London Bike Show, with a 300sq.ft. stand right in the heart of the show. It was especially lovely to hear how many of you knew of us and had already bought from us - and in many cases more than once!
For the first time at ExCel, we offered a wide range of our products for sale, which added a whole extra dimension to our stand - and ensured we had to keep on our toes! The Bike Show is a highlight of our year, and we can't wait for 2015.
Total Women's Cycling Awards - in association with VeloVixen (Feb 2014)
The London Bike Show 2014 also saw the inaugural Total Women's Cycling Awards, and we were the Headline Sponsor for this ground-breaking event. The consensus amongst the 250 or so standing-room-only attendees was that it was a huge success - a perfect way to showcase all the hard work, talent and passion thriving within the women's cycling world.
With so many dozens of worthy nominees across 16 categories (including us, in the Best Online Retailer category!), it's impossible to rate the most outstanding - to coin a cheesy phrase, it felt like Women's Cycling was the winner!
Last year we saw huge numbers of you at:
MacMillan Cycletta - Women-Only Bike Ride Series
Our mobile store has been one of the mainstays at nearly a dozen of Human Race's MacMillan Cycletta women only rides in recent years. We've been at every event of the past two seasons, with our expanded 2013 tents containing an even wider range of clothing and equipment than 2012 to try and buy on the day - including some irresistible Event-Only bargains. It's been a 'tour' that's taken us as far afield as Cornwall, Brighton and Perth. And we've loved meeting 1000s of you.
VeloVixen is also an Official Partner to Cycletta. Excitingly, Cycletta are supported by the wonderful multi-Olympic cycling gold medallist Victoria Pendleton, who we've been thrilled to welcome to our store.
Cycletta is the UK’s leading series of women only bike rides set in stunning, family friendly host venues around the country. Each event has had its individual high points, but above all it's reconfirmed to us the appetite for well organised, women only cycling events.
Watch out for further news about our appearances during 2014 - you might find us popping up in some surprising places!
Orbital Cycling Festival & Brompton World Championships (Goodwood Motor Circuit) - July 2013
The characters and costumes were, not surprisingly, fabulously eccentric and idiosyncratically British! We met some great new people, and loved hanging out with some more familiar faces in their stands. Roll on next year!
The London Nocturne (Smithfield Market) - June 2013
Our race debut was an expected pleasure, having only been invited to take part in the Women's City Criterium race a matter of days earlier. Rose Kingscote, Miranda Smith, Cags Rennie and Monica Piercy were our phenomenal team of stalwarts, who graced the dramatic track around London's Smithfield Market in a really exciting evening of racing.
Their rather nice new VeloVixen kit was trumped only by the magnificent performance of our friends from the Wiggle Honda team, who rode the assembled 10,000 or so strong crowd into a frenzy. We will be back - but it may be a year or two before we start competing on a level with the pros!
Vitality Show, London (Earl's Court 2) - March 2013
The Vitality Show was the forerunner to BeFit, the UK’s largest health, beauty, fitness and wellbeing event for women, and an institution for anyone with an interest in such areas. In 2013, the show included over 350 unique brands and niche products, more than 100 inspirational speakers, 60 free fitness and yoga classes, cooking demos, health advice and dozens of ways to get in shape.
We were there in force, and met a wonderful range of inspiring women at our ever evolving stand.
Bike & Tri Show / Vulpine Fete, Manchester - February 2013
VeloVixen were delighted to appear as part of the Vulpine enclosure at the inaugural Bike & Tri Show at Manchester Central. We were invited as one of their favourite brands, and were there with a miniaturised version of our larger outdoor tent.
The Vulpine Fete was an area in the thick of the main show. It hinged around cycling clothing and kit, but will also involved loads of creativity & art, face painting, Look Mum No Hands!, Rollapaluza and a live DJ. It was a resounding success.
London Bike Show (ExCel) - January 2013
Meanwhile, here is a selection of photos from our successful appearance at the London Bike Show, the UK's biggest bike show, in January 2013 - where our mouth-watering selection of clothing and equipment attracted amazing levels of attention:
