Are you one of the thousands of women riding the Rapha Women's 100 this year? If you're already signed up, good luck! If not, why not?! After all, you can ride it no matter where you live... And it's all happening on Sunday 26th July.
The Rapha Women's 100 has rapidly become established as one of the foremost women's cycling events of the each year. What's ingenious about it is that it's global. Whilst other events do a fantastic job from a set venue around a given route - and we're joyfully aware of the growing number of women-focused rides out there - the Rapha Women's 100 happens everywhere.
What do we mean by that? Well, at time of writing there are 117 rides being organised in Europe alone, with other rides happening as far afield as Thailand, Bolivia, Iceland, New Zealand and Hull. An organised ride can mean 50 of you as part of a cycle club venture, or just a couple of friends looking to stretch your legs and boost the profile of women's cycling.
Last year, more than 8,000 amazing women took part. This year, they're looking to double that number. Every rider counts towards making this into a truly ground breaking annual movement.
Of course, one day we may launch the VeloVixen 101...! But for now we salute Rapha's efforts and say 'chapeau' to everyone involved. Go on, sign up now!
