Are you coming, are you coming?!?!

This month marks our biggest contribution yet to the momentum within women's cycling, as we host our star-studded VeloVixen Women's Cycling Hub - it promises to be one of the highlights of the NEC Cycling Show, running from September 22nd-25th...

Almost a year in the planning, we've now finalised an illustrious list of speakers and panellists. Our 500sq.ft. speaking area promises to be the highlight of the 2016 Cycle Show for women - and we reckon there'll be plenty to interest the guys too.

Located alongside the biggest retail stand we've ever laid on, including over 600sq.ft showcasing many highlights from our huge range of women's cycling gear, you'll be able to mix with fellow cycling nuts, browse, try and buy our famously fab kit. And then you can sit back, listen and ask questions of a jaw-dropping line-up of women's cycling dignitaries...

"Who", you ask? We how about these names to conjure with:

Friday September 23rd

  • Jo Rowsell-Shand - recently returned from Rio with yet another gold medal around her neck
  • Dani King - another extraordinary Olympic gold medallist whose reputation precedes her
  • Becki Morris - Head of British Cycling's Breeze women's cycling campaign
  • Liz Bingham - founder of VeloVixen & adventure cyclist

Saturday September 24th

  • Bob Varney & the Droplets - head of one of two British UCI pro teams, Drops Cycling

  • Emily Chappell - ultra-distance cyclist, recent winner of cross-Europe Transcontinental Race

  • Shu Pillinger - ultra-distance athlete, only British woman ever to complete Race Across America solo

  • Liz Colebrook - Owner of Beaumont Bicycle, one of only two UK female frame builders

Sunday September 25th

  • Laura Bingham - adventurer, recently back from cycling the length of South America with no money
  • Sarah Perry - organiser of Tour de Force, amateur cyclists riding the length of the Tour de France
  • Adele Mitchell - cycling blogger
  • Jools Walker - TV presenter, blogger and cycling journalist
  • Liz Bingham - founder of VeloVixen & adventure cyclist

We've often heard how women's contribution and influence in sport is hugely underrepresented on the big stage. We want to buck that trend and give women a platform to share their stories and knowledge, and inspire others. It'll be fun, engaging, informative - and easy for you to ask all those questions you've always wanted to ask!

So make sure you come for what we expect to be one of the highlights of the women's cycling year - and a big stride forward for women's representation at major cycling events. See you there!

A huge thank you to all the speakers who are selflessly giving up their time, to be part of the VeloVixen Women's Cycling Hub and to contribute something extra to women's cycling.

Favourites that won't be speaking at the NEC Cycle Show!
