To make it easier for people buying their kit to be confident it will fit in the way they want it to, Altura have labelled each product where desired fit might differ as either Fitted, Relaxed Fit or Semi-Fitted. These different fits can be understood as follows:
- Fitted garments are designed to fit close to the body without causing restriction.
- Semi-Fitted garments are designed to skim the contours of the body offering a slightly looser fit around the chest, waist and hips without causing any unnecessary ‘flapping’ or ‘drag’.
- Relaxed Fit garments provide more room around the body and are designed for a slower pace.

HOW TO MEASURE YOUR BODY
- BUST AROUND: Wrap a tape measure around the widest part of your bust (approximately 5cm under the arms).
- WAIST AROUND: Wrap a tape measure around your natural waistline.
- SHOULDER & SLEEVE LENGTH: Measure from the lowest part of the rear neck to the shoulder point and down the outside of the arm to the wrist.
- INNER LEG LENGTH: Stand up straight, with your feet together and have a friend measure from your crotch down the inner leg to the floor.
- BODY HEIGHT: Standing straight, ask a friend to mark your total height against a wall and measure from the mark to the floor.
- HAND: Measure the palm side of the hand, from the wrist crease to the tip of the middle finger.
