Blue Rain was the very first design that HardnutZ sampled. It's simply a high resolution photograph of raindrops on a car windscreen. The fact that it's still a mainstay of their range is testament to its popularity. We can see why - it's simple, stylish and refreshingly different, and should ensure you make a fashion splash out on the road.

Plus, it's brimful of features to keep you comfortable and safe on your bike. There are three sizes to choose from, and an adjustable dial to get the fit just right, so there should be one to fit you just right. And all at such a modest price.

Ideal for:

  • Urban cycling, BMX, skateboarding & rollerblading.
  • Keeping hair dry from the rain.
  • Making a fashion splash on the road.

Who's Behind It?

HardnutZ helmets are a new brand of high quality sports helmets, based in Essex.  Cycling helmets are a particular focus for them.  Mark Dickinson and his team specialise in creating truly original looks, but manage to combine them with astute attention to technical detail – plus, of course, full certification to the latest European Safety Standards.

Many experts who have tested them have struggled to see or feel the difference between HardnutZ and helmets twice their price.  We are big fans of theirs as they take on the big boys of the bike helmet world.  Their quality is great: they need to be at least as good as the more established alternatives to make the great progress that they're making, and all from their base in Southend.
