This versatile and technical jacket is designed for every form of winter cycling. It features a bi-elastic fabric with a special membrane of ecological waterproof treatment with high breathability, combined with a quilted, windproof fabric on the front. The 100 gram inner padding guarantees absolute warmth. Reflective details are smartly integrated in the design – the red zipper being an eye catcher on the other hand.

While this jacket is designed for high performance, the contrast between the quilted front panel and printed base gives the jacket a casual look. So, don’t be afraid to try it off the bike too. Perfect for evening walks, work commutes or coffee stops that turn into bar hopping…

  1. Love it

    Review by Kate

I love this jacket. Its perfect for my commute. I am a size 10 and the medium is perfect with room for a few layers. It looks great with office trousers when in and out of work for meetings. Very breathable and warm for winter. I have had lots of compliments on it. Great to wear something with unique style not just functionality.

  2. Lovely but too small

    Review by Carole

The jacket arrived today, and as I had hoped, just in time for tomorrow’s ride. It is a lovely jacket and would have been really useful if it had fitted. I had checked the sizing and had selected the large . I am usually a medium, somewhere between 12 and 14 , but the large in this jacket was sadly far too small - more like a size 10 - there was no way it would do up.
I’m returning the jacket tomorrow and hoping that there is an extra large still available and that it will fit, if it doesn’t I will begin to think that there is a conspiracy to prevent medium sized women wearing good looking, clever cycling gear. Fingers crossed!

VeloVixen says: I'm sorry that the jacket does not fit you but it must just be the cut. Fran in the office would normally wear an XS or Small and can wear both of the Iris jackets with no problem at all. The designer behind the Iris brand is Iris Slappendel who is a Dutch ex-pro cyclist and is very well aware of making clothing that is true to size. We certainly believe that the Iris jacket is accurate and not too small. Remember winter jackets are supposed to be fitted so that they trap the warm air between the base layer and the coat, there is no need to wear any more than 1-2 thin layers under this coat. Sorry the cut doesn't work for you.
