The Morvelo Friday Hemisphere Gilet is ideal to wear at the start of a ride - a lightweight extra layer to keep the early chill out. When you warm up it can be folded into its own zipped pocket and tucked away unobtrusively into your jersey pocket.
Breaking the mould of a traditional gilet, the three open rear pockets and 4th zipped side pocket mean it's incredibly versatile and perfect for all day riding through variable conditions. With its effective windblock, high collar and highly water resistant front, shoulder and side panels, it's designed to shield you from the elements whilst the mesh rear panel lets the excess heat and moisture dissipate.
The Hemisphere Gilet is a slim and tailored cut. If you fall between sizes we suggest you go for a size up. It's designed to minimise fabric flapping and made a touch longer to increase protection from wind and rain.

Oli Pepper and Dave Marcar are bike nuts to the core. They've spent most of their lives riding and racing all kinds of bikes, plus nearly as long in the worlds of graphic design and branding. In 2009, they decided to combine their passions and expertise and created Morvélo - to encompass cycling 'in all its forms'.
Since then, from their Brighton base, the firm has grown through private financing from their friends and customers - often one and the same! Today they are amongst the rising stars of the British cycling sector. They remain independently owned an proudly British, and so able to put their own distinctive mark on their ever expanding range of stunning cycling gear. They explore themes that combine cycling with wider influences from art, fashion, film and music. And they do it with real individuality and class. Their women's range is growing fast, and they have 'real' women as part of their team both to design and test all their products. Just some of the reasons why we like them so much!
On top of their great clothing, they are always looking to expand their influence within the cycling world more broadly - hence their collaborations with brands as iconic as the Tour de France, the Bicycle Academy and Look Mum No Hands, and cycling events.
