Cycling shorts are a dream when they fit snug and feel super comfortable. Take it from us, you don't want a sore bum. Wearing cycling kit that works for you, will make a world of difference to the entire ride. And that's where Morvelo's award winning bib shorts come in...

Made from a soft, durable Lycra, these Morvelo Bib Shorts will feel lovely against your skin and stay tough against day-to-day wear and tear. Its exclusive Italian seat pad is well known for being comfortable and Morvelo continue to use it throughout their range - providing countless miles and hours of riding (minus any discomfort down there).

Tailored with comfort in mind, flatlock stitched seams help to prevent chafing, giving a smoother feel, which is a bonus for those long rides. Two reflective leg tabs, aid better visibility in low-light conditions. Mesh straps allow you to move freely whilst on the bike, plus shows of your flattering physique and silicone has been stitched into the fabric on the legs for that smooth pro-finish - a leg gripper that stays put.

Cycling Active says...

Combining comfort and style into one bib short shaped package is the Holy Grail for a cycle clothing company and Morvelo have achieved it.

Size Guide

When trying on the Morvélo Highlife bib shorts they will initially feel tighter than other shorts of the same size. They will loosen a little after the first couple of rides as the material relaxes to provide pro-level support and fit.

Who's Behind It?

Oli Pepper and Dave Marcar are bike nuts to the core. They've spent most of their lives riding and racing all kinds of bikes, plus nearly as long in the worlds of graphic design and branding. In 2009, they decided to combine their passions and expertise and created Morvélo - to encompass cycling 'in all its forms'.

Since then, from their Brighton base, the firm has grown through private financing from their friends and customers - often one and the same! Today they are amongst the rising stars of the British cycling sector. They remain independently owned and proudly British, and so able to put their own distinctive mark on their ever expanding range of stunning cycling gear. They explore themes that combine cycling with wider influences from art, fashion, film and music. And they do it with real individuality and class. Their women's range is growing fast, and they have 'real' women as part of their team both to design and test all their products. Just some of the reasons why we like them so much!

On top of their great clothing, they are always looking to expand their influence within the cycling world more broadly - hence their collaborations with brands as iconic as the Tour de France, the Bicycle Academy and Look Mum No Hands, and cycling events. They are going places, and we're going with them...

  1. Mega comfy but long!

    Review by goldenmeat

These shorts look really smart and are incredibly comfy. No niggles at all in a 50 mile ride to break them in. I like the design of the chamois, it's nice and wide at the back, and no pinch points at the front. The only downside is that I found these shorts to be very long! I'm 5'4" and take size Medium and the leg gripper is practically at my knees and wrinkles a little when my legs are bent. So maybe if you are shorter than 5'4" see if you can try them on first.
