If you love the Gabba, but need something a little lighter for warmer rides, then the Castelli Perfetto Light RoS is your solution. After all, it was designed in response to a call from Gabba-loving professional riders for just that.
This latest evolution of the Perfetto Light has been improved in any number of facets - thinner fabrics on the front and back, better protection from the rain and better breathability.
Check the weather conditions, then choose to wear it on its own, over a base layer or over a full jersey - after all, you can easily stuff this version into a jersey pocket. It's the ideal top layer for spring and autumn training and racing in colder conditions - effectively a sleeved version of the Perfetto Vest.
The Perfetto Light RoS is a hugely versatile top - and one which could easily become a staple of your cycling wardrobe.
- The lightest Castelli short-sleeved wind protection available
- Gore-Tex Infinium Windstopper 203 Stretch lightweight fabric used for both front and sleeves
- Nano Flex Light Woven fabric used on back for breathability, extra stretch and extra water protection
- YKK Vislon zip for easy adjustment as you ride
- Double back pockets with pump sleeve
- Gabba-style dropped tail with reflective panel
- Recommended temperatures: 12°-20°C
- Weight: 172g
Castelli Size Guide
Where Castelli once had a reputation for making gear that suited only very small Italian folk, the Castelli women's size scale is now very similar to 'normal' UK sizing.
That said, it is primarily designed with a snug fit in mind, so if you prefer more room or are between sizes, go up rather than down. If you are still unsure, feel free to contact us.

Q. What do a 19th century Italian tailor, a designer for the Milan Ballet and the first ever lycra cycling shorts have in common?
A. They are all part of a rich 140 year history that's led to today's most recognised brand in cycling: Castelli.
Throw in a heart attack on a famous Italian climb, family feuds, Olympic gold medals and controversy in the pro peloton and it begins to sound more like a Sicilian soap opera than the backdrop to a cycling brand. But then again Castelli is no ordinary brand.
Today, Castelli's scorpion emblem is arguably the single most recognised in cycling. Iconic is an overused word these days, but the Castelli brand surely qualifies.
We first discovered Castelli on our year long ride through the Americas in 2010, when our founder Liz (pictured) wore Castelli shorts and loved them, so stocking them seemed an obvious choice. But we're almost as captivated by the story behind the name as the kit itself! For the full Castelli story (it's quite a story!), click here.
