Velocity Size Guide
The waistband of Velocity's trousers and shorts is cut to sit above the hip bones (not on your waist itself – which is that much higher). Measure round your waist immediately above your hips to get a clearer idea of which size will work best for your shape.

Velocity Urban Cyclewear is the brainchild and creation of Carolyn Gaskell. She worked for 13 years in the charity and education sectors before prising herself out and fulfilling a passion to create Great British Urban Cyclewear. She aims to create cycling clothes that are as stylish as they are functional - clothes that you can still look great in even after you hop off your steed.
Aside from the exceptional quality of design and finish, what sets Carolyn's creations apart are the cycling specific details. Those little things that you don't necessarily spot initially, but which make all the difference to how you feel when you're on or off your bike.
Equally admirable is Velocity's insistence on both designing and manufacturing in London. Not for them a distant Far Eastern factory - they prefer to able to feel the collars of those actually making their kit - sometimes literally!
"My mum made a lot of clothes for my older sister and I as children. I won’t pretend we were the most fashionable kids in the school but it was an endless source of fascination and intrigue." Learn more about how Velocity came to manufacture their clothing in the UK. Read full story
