Super comfortable - just a shame about the finger loopsReview by SallyT
I recently purchased these gloves to replace a pair that were destroyed in a bad crash. I've worn them a few times now and I have to say they are incredibly comfortable, to the point that I almost don't notice they're there. I realised I was still wearing them long after my ride had finished! They cushion against the handlebar buzz excellently and I wouldn't fault them if not for the finger loops...
Obviously they serve a good purpose but they are incredibly long, probably twice as much as is needed. In addition to their exaggerated length, a fingerloop on each glove ripped after removing my gloves on the first wear. I didn't pull any harder that I would on any other pair of gloves, but one completely came away from the seam and the other won't last much longer before it goes the same way. In the grand scheme of things this doesn't really matter as I just take my gloves off the old fashioned way instead, turning them inside out... but for a not particularly cheap pair of gloves you wouldn't expect this to happen on first wear. If that's the kind of thing that doesn't really bother you then I can 100% recommend these gloves.
VeloVixen Says: thanks for your great review, Sally. We will certainly pass on your constructive point about the finger loops, which do sound a though they need some reinforcement next time - apologies for the tearing this time, feel free to send them back to us and we'll replace them for you.
