The Stolen Goat Climb and Conquer Winter Cycling Jacket is a true thoroughbred to get you through the coldest of winter days. We know of outings well below freezing where the Climb and Conquer has kept the lucky wearer smiling throughout!

It's so cosy and well insulated that on anything other than the coldest days you'll be able to wear the Climb and Conquer with just a base layer or summer jersey. It's perfect for crisp wintery conditions where the temperature remains consistently low throughout your ride. You won’t even dread the odd downpour - it features water repellent fabric, but with seams and zips deliberately not sealed to keep it breathable and ensure you don't overheat.

The Tempest Protect fabric provides both a wind and waterproof shell to give you the confidence to keep you riding throughout the winter, on or off road. Its soft, fleece-like Roubaix lining adds versatility, allowing it to be paired with a base layer or summer jersey on even the coldest rides. Should conditions warm up, it'll remain comfortable against your skin if you need to wear on its own. The covered zip helps protect against wind and cold penetration.

The rear pockets are made of Pixel100 fabric. The subtle pinpricks of reflectivity are understated by day but reflect dramatically after dark when lights are shone on them, helping to keep you highly visible on the road.

The Camlock zip with material garage is the best zip money can buy, ensuring the zip stays put and doesn't irritate. And a fourth, water resistant pocket means you can keep your valuables safe and dry and wave goodbye to ziplock bags forever!

Who's Behind It?

When Stolen Goat launched in 2012, Founder Tim Bland had a solid, interesting and lucrative job. What kind of a fool would leave that behind? Well, our kind of fool!

He'd had enough of the 9 to 5 routine and wanted to find a way to be productive, efficient and creative, whilst creating something of his own and being able to pursue his passions. Stolen Goat allowed him to combine all of these things and keep a smile on his face.

In creating and nurturing Stolen Goat into the respected clothing manufacturer that it is today, Whilst growing the Stolen Goat team and range, Tim's been able to keep loving the great outdoors and spend time with his young family - but also create a thriving firm that's straight from the heart. Stolen Goat has been a deliberately slow burn in becoming part of the fabric of cycling over a number of years; nothing worthwhile happens overnight. Today the quality, designs and durability are a match for any of the more recognised names out there.

We've got to know Stolen Goat over many years, and have witnessed the undimmed pride and passion that go into it. We're confident you'll like them.

And then there's the question of the name. It's all to do with the day that student Tim lost a bet that result in him 'borrowing' a pedigree goat from a cashmere farm high in the Himalayas and crossing a continent in the company of said goat. They ended up pedalling across Turkmenistan heavily disguised on a tandem, and the rest is history. Or is it...?

  1. Love the design

    Review by Tazzle

I am a part time cyclist, mainly cycling to my exercise classes. I needed something that would double as a class jacket over workout gear & a jacket that would keep me warm & dry & be seen at night. I waited 2 months for it to come back in my size but it was worth it. I wore it today & got a few compliments already. Somebody thought it was a sweaty Betty jacket. I know I will get a lot of wear out of it. I love the multi coloured stripes it will go with anything I wear with it. Thanks to velo vixen being at the National Cycle Show I now know where to get specific female cycle gear.

  2. Bright, jolly and fantastic

    Review by Kajakster

This jacket is superb. I love the design and it's a great fit - true to size. I've cycled in it 3 times so far - once when it was cold and frosty, once when it never stopped raining and today when it was cool and sunny. It really does a great job in keeping me dry - my top half was bone dry after a 50k ride mainly in drizzle which then became quite heavy rain. It will definitely be my go to cycling jacket in the winter.

I ran it through the washing machine on 30C without any washing powder and it came up spotless despite all the muck that had sprayed up the back. I love it!

My Strava page for the 50k ride.
