The Vespertine Road Hog is simply the most eye-popping piece of cycling clothing you'll ever see. Vespertine's Road Hog is softer than a cloud but keeps you deliciously warm. Claim your right to the road fabulously in this exquisitely tailored, fully lined gilet of water-resistant eco-circle recycled/recyclable polyester, generously adorned all over with glowing ostrich feathers. Let's face it, you don't see many of those on the roads these days.
Surprisingly, it's not only outrageous and unique, but practical too: it incorporates generously proportioned reflective 3M stripes and a reflective waist band, plus an inner zippered cell phone pocket. It truly dazzles under lights. And, would you believe it, you can wash and dry it time and again without it losing feathers, shape or colour.

Designer Sarah Zoe Canner is the talent behind Vespertine, now well established as one of New York’s foremost cycling fashion names. Through Vespertine, she has – in her own words – ‘re-invented safety wear, integrating luxurious fabrics, exquisite tailoring, eye-catching colours, and the most reflective materials into Haute Réflecteur designs for the new urban lifestyle’.
The catwalk appearances of Sarah’s designs are testament to that. Vespertine products are actually made in New York itself using sustainable materials. All their products combine a rigorous attention to detail (you should just see the stitching!) with the brightest reflectives out there. Plus, of course, some of the funkiest designs ever invented for using on a bike.
Vespertine’s is a heartfelt philosophy: ‘safe is chic and cycling is a revolutionary act which sets good karma spinning’. Who are we to argue?
