A pretty awesome pair of cycling shorts with some wacky designing - a piece of kit that's creative and practical. If you're tired of wearing Lycra and want something a little more relaxed, these Escade shorts are the perfect compromise. Providing the freedom, superior quality, and versatile comfort that riders seek on and off the path.
Made from Stessa stretch fabric, known for being lightweight and durable, you'll be able to ride your bike with a fluid range motion, meaning your legs can pedal away without restriction. If you happen to come in contact with shrubbery, grit spray or mud, these cycling shorts will take the hit and protect your upper legs.
The high quality Italian-made chamois padding sits within a women's specific removable mesh liner, giving you the option to switch between the two. And, if you want to wear the shorts for something other than cycling, then you can do so, padless.
These Primal shorts can be customised to fit you. With quick button adjustments you'll be on your way faster than you can click your fingers. The waistband is capable of being adjusted in a variety of ways and is just another fine example of versatility on display. Neat, pockets are tucked in to the side to help you reach them without losing your balance.
Primal's Escade shorts are a loose fit and come with an adjustable waistband and belt loops.

Primal was founded in 1992 by 'real' cyclists. It's an ethos they maintain today: every employee must be a passionate and positive cyclist - but not necessarily a hugely talented one! Their primary aim is to create clothes for cyclists that not only work perfectly, but also look unique, beautiful and full of character.
Their design department is famous in the cycling world, constantly creating ambitious new looks but never allowing style to overwhelm substance. Whilst they are amongst the biggest cycling clothing companies in the world, they stand out by remaining human, approachable and flexible. They go out of their way to avoid becoming a corporate behemoth focused on 'peddling not pedalling'. It's a great approach.
Their Global Headquarters is in Denver, Colorado (lucky them!), but they have been growing within Europe for several years now, and their UK team is fully focused on what is a new market for them. We are hoping to grow with them.

Great shorts, lovely fabricReview by Iceonfire
Love these shorts! The fabric is a lovely mix of soft and structured and the padding is well designed. Length is just right for me - I'm 5'4" and they finish just above the knee. The inner padded knickers are quite small so although I wear size 12 in civvies, I had to return the medium size for large. I've ordered the top now, should have ordered them together to get the bundle discount!
