The ultra-light cycling jacket that will keep you on the go-go. Perfect for wet weather commutes, a days ride and general everyday use. You can even fold it up and stash in a back pocket - desirable for cycling trips away when faced with multiple conditions.
New and improved, the Shower Pass Double Century RTX Jacket is made from an Artex Hardshell 2.5DC fabric, named for the revolutionary Double Charcoal print (on the sides). This fabric wicks moisture and lifts the membrane layer off the skin, providing a softer, dryer feel than other 2.5 layer fabrics - without adding all the bulk, which we love! Its waterproof, breathable membrane and durable water repellent finish provide the best protection against the wet weather, so you can start your ride as you mean to go on.
Tailored specifically for cycling, the RTX jacket has a few other features to fend off the rain and keep your temperature just right. All seams are fully taped, meaning water can't sneak through. A storm flap behind the front zipper, a dropped tail to catch tyre spray and longer sleeves provide wrist coverage and easy reach whilst on the bike. When temperatures heighten, this jacket rises to the occasion with seven venting options to keep you cool - including the two-way front zipper. What's more is its micro chamois lining at the collar, which wicks away sweat and is soft to the touch, plus a zip garage means no neck nipping either.
There's more: 360° of Scotchlite reflective material trim for day and low light visibility, a light loop on the back for night-time visibility and a chest pocket and large back pocket with water resistant zippers.
*The Double Century RTX jacket is packable and fits nicely in a back jersey pocket.

Back in 2010, our founders Liz and Phil found themselves in a bike shop in Seattle whiling away a wet afternoon. They were part way through a year long trip, dodging rain because Liz hadn’t yet found a decent waterproof.
And then it happened. She fell into a Showers Pass waterproof jacket that fitted both her and her pocket, and promised to keep her dry and comfortable through the worst that the American North West could throw at her. That jacket became Liz’s favourite piece of kit and is still in use to this day.
From Day 1 of VeloVixen, we’ve been waiting for the moment we could stock Showers Pass. In 2013 they expanded into the UK, setting up home in South Shields. They’re slowly developing a small network of hand-picked retailers, never wanting to jeopardise the fantastic repution they’ve built up in the USA.
Based in Oregon, USA, Showers Pass was born from the desire to develop clothing and gear to get more people out on their bikes, no matter the weather.
Inspired by the challenging rides and variable conditions of Northern California and the Pacific Northwest, Showers Pass continue to combine high performance materials with innovative functional design for cyclists, just as they have since 1997. Best known for their exceptional waterproof-breathable outerwear, they aim to help racers, commuters, messengers and the everyday cycling enthusiasts power through the elements.

Excellent wet weather jacketReview by Karen
I purchased this jacket specifically for use in the wet weather, and it has not disappointed. It is light and comfortable when riding and also keeps the wind out. The colour makes me very visable on the road as well. A good purchase!
