Details

This lightweight, high performance long sleeved Merino cycling jersey from Jura Cycle Clothing is a perfect year-round cycling companion.  A retro style jersey, featuring a stripe both front, back and on the cuffs.

Jura have used a new yarn of Merino, treated with H2Dry, which makes the yarn even more breathable, elastic and uncrushable!  So in warm weather you'll feel much cooler, be able to maintain your cycling position with zero stretch issues and regain the jerseys look of fresh perfection (without the slightest trace of creasing or crumpling) - and you won't have to do a thing!  Also, due to Merino wool's natural stretch, this top offers one of the most forgiving and feminine fits we've come across.

In hot weather, the natural properties of finest Italian Merino wool will avoid you from overheating, despite its high neck and long sleeves.  And on cooler days, the opposite holds true - the Merino keeps you toastier than artificial materials.  What's more, it feels sumptuously soft and won't smell even on the hottest days.  Yes please!

The real selling point here, though, is Jura Cycle Clothing's irresistible look - a throwback to the days of classic cycling styling!

Care: Please note that merino can catch on sharp things like keys and brambles. If a hole appears, this can be easily darned. We suggest that you wash this jersey with similar items, and don't use fabric conditioner. Machine wash 30°. Zips, velcro and metal trims can damage merino during washing - keep these seperate, then dry the jersey flat. With a little care, it should become a long-term luxurious favourite.

Size Guide

Jura's Merino jerseys are designed to be unisex.  We normally don't go for clothes that work well for men too, but with Jura Cycle Clothing we had to make a glowing exception.  We tried them on and immediately the fit was so flattering and perfect that we couldn't resist.

So, bearing in mind that they were originally designed with those pesky male torsos in mind, this is how to ensure you pick the right size for you:

  Chest Jerseys back length
Sleeve length UK
X-Small 32.3" / 82cm 24.4" / 62cm - 8/10
Small 33.9" / 86cm 25.2" / 64cm 23.6" / 60cm 12
Medium 36.2" / 92cm 27.5" / 70cm 24.4" / 62cm 14
Large 38.2" / 97cm 28" / 71cm 25.2" / 64cm 16
X-Large 42" / 107cm 28.3" 72cm 26" / 66cm 18

SLEEVE LENGTH ~ the sleeves are measured from the shoulder seam to the start of the cuff, the cuff itself is another 5cm.

Who's Behind It?

Jura Cycle Clothing is the brainchild of a small entrepreneurial team based in Sussex.  From their rural base, using young British designers, Jura Cycle Clothing create simply some of the most stylish cycling jerseys anywhere.

Claire the founder, a keen cyclist, was fed up with wearing lycra and seeing her husband (also a keen cyclist) heading off on his bicycle dressed in lycra!

Their Italian sourced Merino wool is breathtakingly high quality and brings all the natural whicking, drying and comforts that you'd expect from the finest merino.  The Turkish factory that manufactures their garments was hand-picked after an exhaustive local search for the right partners, both from a quality and ethical perspective.

Above all, we love Jura Cycling Clothing's retro styling which harks back to the heyday of 1950's cycling.  But with colours this bold, it's a good thing we've moved beyond the black & white era!
